The 2016 presidential campaign has been a full-on circus. Now thanks to a super creepy ad from a super PAC, it’s finally jumped the shark.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who has often been painted as a liar by Donald Trump and his supporters, has now been turned into a real-life Pinocchio by the New Day for America super PAC.

The ad, titled “Nose,” takes aim at “Lyin’ Ted Cruz,” and it is what nightmares are made of.

It runs through statements Cruz has made while the nose continues to grow and wrap around his neck.

“Lied about Ben Carson to steal a win in Iowa,” the ad says. “Lies about being the best for the GOP, when polls show he can’t even beat Hillary Clinton.”

The ad from the super PAC that’s supporting Ohio Gov. John Kasich wraps up as the Pinochio nose makes a third loop around Cruz’s neck.

“If Ted Cruz’s mouth is moving, he’s lying,” the ad says.

The anti-Cruz ad comes as a pro-Cruz super PAC released an ad buy in Wisconsin that took aim at Kasich.

“Kasich Won’t Play” from the Trusted Leadership PAC hits Kasich on a number of topics, including tax hikes and expansion of Medicaid in Ohio.

According to Politico, Trusted Leadership is spending $500,000 on the campaign.
