Footage claims to show the priest using the drug in his parish house with Nazi memorabilia.
Video footage obtained by The Sun claims to show a Roman Catholic priest snorting cocaine in his parish home, adorned with Nazi memorabilia.
Father Stephen Crossan admitted to the publication to having taken drugs but said it was just the one night.
“I do not have an issue with drugs,” he told the publication.
An unnamed source said he brought them back to his place after identifying himself as a social worker, but his guests identified his home as on the grounds of a church.
That source said there was Nazi memorabilia all over the house, and at one point Crossan wore a Nazi military cap and did the Nazi salute.
Crossan said of the artifacts, “I’m no Nazi. I collect historical stuff. There’s stuff there from every country.”
According to the BBC, Bishop of Dromore John McAreavey said in a public statement that Crossan was on leave since May 2015, had been receiving counseling and was considering his future.
