Consider this the ultimate test of horsepower: A Tesla racing against an actual horse.

It was an unlikely matchup on Sunday at the Greenwich Polo Club’s season opener, where a Tesla Model S P85D squared off against a polo pony being ridden by Joaquin Panelo, according to the New York Post.

The race was a close one, but ultimately, the Tesla’s 691 horsepower beat the single horsepower.

The stunt was all part of a stop on the electric automaker’s national test drive tour.

Tesla can now add this to its list of race victories, which includes the time a Model SĀ smoked a 707-horsepower 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

Oddly, this wasn’t one of the most absurd races we’ve seen. There was that time the NFL’s Devin Hester raced a cheetah.

Let’s also not forget about that an epic race between camels and a bunch of dwarfs.
