At industry event CinemaCon on Tuesday, the star of the new Spider-Man franchise, Tom Holland, announced the title of the first film in the rebooted Spidey series.
The title is “obviously a high school reference and shows Peter Parker’s enduring conflict — saving the world and getting your homework done,” Sony exec Tom Rothman said, via Indiewire.
According to A.V. Club, Sony also previewed footage of the new movie, which will reportedly feature a guest appearance from Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming,” which also stars Zendaya and Marisa Tomei, will swing into theaters July 7, 2017.
