Jason Heyward makes a perfect throw to the plate.

Jason Heyward’s return to Busch Stadium hasn’t gone exactly as he had probably hoped, but it hasn’t been all bad.

Along with being booed mercilessly by the Cardinals faithful each time he steps into the batter’s box, the former St. Louis slugger is 0-7 at the plate.

The mini slump hasn’t affected Heyward’s play in the field, though. Check out this perfect throw the Cubs outfielder made to nail former teammate Matt Holliday at the plate and preserve Chicago’s 2-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth.

The Cubs took Game 1 of the series 5-0.
